A Commitment to Education
In an effort to better train the physicians of tomorrow and bring you the best healthcare possible, ProHealth Physicians is actively involved with the training of students in healthcare professions programs at Quinnipiac University, UConn, and Yale University. Each clinician serves as a mentor and instructor to a medical student, nurse practitioner student, and/or physician assistant student, supervising his/her education. ProHealth trains over 125 students annually.
ProHealth also hosts interns with the help of its not-for-profit research and education division, The Connecticut Center for Primary Care (CCPC). In collaboration with our educational partners, these internships are developed annually to support specific ProHealth and CCPC programs.
In addition, ProHealth also has a strong relationship with the University of Hartford, providing on-campus student health services for the university. The integration of dedicated on-site staff and physician oversight provide the West Hartford campus with quality healthcare.
