Recognizing Optum SAGES award winner Tim Rauch, APRN

On October 12, 2023, ProHealth Physician's own Tim Rausch, APRN, received a Sages of Clinical Excellence Award. This is both an honor and a remarkable achievement. Winners represent the best of the 57,000 eligible clinicians at UnitedHealth Group.
They live our core values of integrity, compassion, inclusion, relationships, innovation and performance. They also go out of their way to support patients and colleagues. Their contributions make a difference in health care, their communities and the company.
This year, there were 2,200 nominations from peers and managers. The winners – 150 in all — came from 7 different countries. ProHealth is fortunate and proud to have Tim on our team. He embodies excellence in patient care.
Tim joined ProHealth in 2016. In addition to his many qualities as a health care professional, he regularly receives some of the highest quality scores at ProHealth. He's also actively involved in activities that support the well-being of our care teams.
Tim's nomination stated:
"Compassion abounds in everything Tim does. He's a leader and thoughtful professional who cares for generations of families. He's a volunteer firefighter and an emergency medical services coordinator for his local fire department.
"He also started the community's now-yearly blood drive. Last year, he was given the Spirit of the Company Firefighter of the Year award for his deep commitment to his community."
Patients feel truly cared for by Tim. He treats them with compassion, respect and kindness.
