We are happy to announce that Dr. Leah Post will be joining the practice on May 1st. Please come to meet Dr. Post at one of the Open Houses we are planning on March 1st, March 19th, and April 26th, all from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the office. She has been working in South Windsor for 12 years with Dr. Michael Levine, who is retiring this spring. She and her family live in Glastonbury, and she's excited to play a larger role in her community. Welcome to our Practice!
Dr. Robert Adamenko, along with Dr. Leah Post are dedicated to working in partnership with you to provide the best possible care for your children from birth through young adulthood. Our office understands the need for timely and attentive care when your child is ill, making it a priority to accommodate same-day appointments for sick children.
We place great value in Health Supervision visits (physicals or check-ups) from birth to college-age. We have found this to be the ideal format to address all issues of concern, whether they be physical, educational, behavioral or social. We also collaborate with the region's best specialists, most of whom are part of the Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
In addition to the general pediatric care described above, we also offer the services of Kathleen Kirwin, APRN. Kathleen is a board certified Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry who brings over 25 years of mental health experience to the practice. This practice-based model of mental health enables the pediatric providers to be more involved with this aspect of care, facilitates this important service in a familiar setting, and is covered by most insurance plans. Whether you are expecting a baby or adopting a child, or you are new to the Glastonbury area, we would love to meet you.
