A Brief History

Dr. Adamenko joined the practice of Dr. William Henry in 2008. Dr. Henry began providing care for the children of Glastonbury and surrounding communities in 1969. At the close of 2011, Dr. Henry retired after more than 40 years of devoted service to his patients.  Dr. Post had been working with Dr. Michael Levine in South Windsor for over a decade, and in April of 2012 Dr. Levine retired.  Having known each other from their pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, Dr. Adamenko and Post realized merging their practices made a lot of sense. They both continue to be committed to combining the warmth of a small-town practice with the delivery of up-to-date, evidence-based pediatric care. 

Our Office

Our office is bright and contemporary with easy access from Route 2 and has ample free parking. Our practice is one of many medical services found within the ProHealth building, which is located in the Gateway Medical Office Park, home to a Connecticut Children's Specialty Center. We schedule patients from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday. By sharing after-hours coverage with a group of experienced local ProHealth pediatricians, our patients have access to urgent care every day of the year. After-hours phone calls are sent to the on-call office, or the Rainbow Call Center, and is always backed up by the on-call pediatrician.

For your convenience, our building is also home to a ProHealth Imaging Center (for X-rays, etc.) and Physical Therapy office, the Connecticut Sinus Institute, and a Quest Lab drawing station.

From Route 2 South

Exit 8, Hebron Avenue. Take a left at the light onto Hebron Avenue and proceed to 3rd light and take a left onto Eastern Boulevard. Proceed about ¼ mile and take a left onto Western Boulevard. In 0.2 miles enter the Gateway Medical Office Park on the left. Our office is located in the ProHealth Physician's building. 

From Route 3 North

Exit 8, Hebron Avenue. Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Oak Street, and then another right onto Hebron Avenue.  Proceed to 2nd light and take a left onto Eastern Boulevard. Proceed about ¼ mile and take a left onto Western Boulevard. In 0.2 miles enter the Gateway Medical Office Park on the left. Our office is located in the ProHealth Physician's building.
