Joshua Hartman, MD is a gastroenterologist at ProHealth Physicians Gastroenterology in Danbury where he diagnoses and treats diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestines, colon, pancreas, and liver. He has have a particular interest in colon cancer screening.
Dr. Hartman received his bachelor of Science degree with high honors from the University of Michigan, he then completed his masters of Science degree at Georgetown University. He received his doctorate, also with honors, at New York Medical College. Dr. Hartman then went on to complete his residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After his residency, he completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health.
He has had multiple works published and has spoken for professional presentations. His most recent was in Washington DC for Digestive Disease Week.
Dr. Hartman likes his patients to know that communication is very important when forming a doctor/patient relationship. Having open communication allows him to gather the necessary information to properly diagnose and treat each condition.
