February Primary Care Coalition Meeting
February 17, 2017
Our next Primary Care Coalition of Connecticut (PCCC) meeting will occur on February 27th at the ProHealth Administrative office in Farmington from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m..
We have several speakers on important primary care-related topics. First, Dr. Andy Sellinger, of ProHealth Physicians/OptumCare and Quinnipiac University Netter School of Medicine, will present an idea on how to disseminate announcements of Connecticut primary care-related activities and events to interested stakeholders. Then, we will hear from Anne Elwell of Qualidigm and the Connecticut Choosing Wisely Collaborative. Anne will provide an overview of this national program, its brief history in CT, challenges in its adoption, and the CT Coalition’s goals for 2017. Finally, Michele Kelvey-Albert of Qualidigm, will provide an update on the CT Statewide Innovation Model (SIM) activities, achievements, and challenges with primary care providers. These are important and timely topics. We look forward to an educational meeting and lively discussion.
