Fundraising

The Connecticut Center for Primary Care is a non-profit research center which relies on the funds from grants and generous donations to carry out its mission to transform the Connecticut primary care system through evidence-based best practices. CCPC’s annual fundraiser is the Primary Care Summit. The money raised from this event supports CCPC’s research, quality improvement, and educational activities throughout the year.

In addition to the Primary Care Summit, CCPC encourages year-round gifts at both the corporate and individual level. Contributions are tax deductible.

Corporate Support

Your company’s corporate sponsorship will help support CCPC efforts toward the transformation of primary care practice in Connecticut. These efforts include studying new models of care, including, care coordination, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives and translating these new models of care into everyday practice via educational programs for primary care providers and community members throughout Connecticut. Your donation will help CCPC staff create and manage important provider-based research. In addition, CCPC hosts the Annual Primary Care Summit, a venue for primary care leaders, clinicians, hospital administrators, managed care representatives, interested public policy stakeholders and advocates, to formulate strategies for the advancement of primary care and appropriate health system reform for the State of Connecticut.

Individual Support

Your donation will help support CCPC efforts toward the transformation of primary care practice in Connecticut. More specifically, your donation will help interdisciplinary student teams and their work on social determinants of health. These projects are important to the overall training of new primary care providers and clinical team members by exposing the students to real community-based medicine. Students use their critical thinking skills to help resolve issues related to the day-to-day practice of primary care medicine.
