10th Annual Primary Care Summit
“Focused On You” Start To Finish
Thank you to all who attended the 10th Annual Primary Care Summit!
If any of the 185 attendees of CCPC’s 10th Annual Primary Care Summit on November 15 at Hartford’s Connecticut Convention Center expected “just another conference”, they were in for a pleasant surprise. To mark a decade of milestones and commitment, the Connecticut Center for Primary Care (CCPC) hosted an event focused on the timely topic of provider burnout.
Summit attendees enjoyed a cocktail reception and a poster presentation highlighting ongoing research and innovation in primary care. CCPC presented Leadership Awards to Qualidigm VP Anne Elwell, Yale University School of Medicine Chief of Geriatrics Mary Tinetti, MD, Women’s Health Medical Director Walter Trymbulak, MD, and the Urban Service Track as examples of outstanding leadership in Primary Care.
The event culminated with keynote speaker Christine Sinsky, MD, who spoke on the rarely-addressed topic of provider burnout and what can be done about this growing issue. From beginning to end, the event was “Focused On You”.
Thank you to our sponsors, donors, and friends for making this event a reality.Your support of the Primary Care Summit ensures that CCPC can continue its efforts toward the transformation of primary care practice in Connecticut.
