Shades for Migraine: June 21, 2019

June 14, 2019

Show you care. Wear a pair… of Sunglasses!

Wear some sunglasses all day long on June 21 – the longest day of the year! Dare friends to wear theirs too. They just need to be visible…hanging around your neck or from your shirt, or propped on your head if you can’t wear them on your face the entire day. Wear them indoors and in places where people usually don’t wear sunglasses. Be silly. Let them make a statement…  Start a conversation.

Shades for Migraine is a campaign to promote awareness and create a viral buzz for a disease that affects more than 1 billion people worldwide. Why sunglasses? It’s simple! Sunglasses are one of the few indicators that someone may be suffering from migraine. Sun and light sensitivity is a common trigger amongst people living with migraine, causing them to turn to their sunglasses for relief.

Show you are supporting the cause by posting photos of you wearing your shades on social media with the hashtags: #ShadesForMigraine  #ProHealthShades #ProHealthHeadache
