Pediatric & Adolescent Care
Pediatric and adolescent physical therapy is the evaluation and treatment of physical impairments in children ranging from age 6 to 18. Our therapists work to assist children with their physical challenges, maximize their independence, and improve the functional skills necessary for their daily and recreational lives. We are committed to providing the best preventive healthcare while integrating hands-on techniques and creative therapeutic exercises that are fun, but functional. Because every child’s family plays an important role, we choose to have a family-centered approach when developing our individualized pediatric programs.
Some programs include, but are not limited to:
- Strengthening and balancing weak muscles
- Balance and coordination exercises
- Endurance and gross motor exercises
- Gait assessment
- Patient and family education
