Sheri has been a pediatric nurse practitioner since 1992. She received her NSB, summa cum laude from Georgetown University. Sheri received her Master's of Science in Nursing from Yale University with a focus on chronic illness in 1992. She returned to Yale University in 1998, a recipient of a National Institutes of Health(NIH) grant and earned her doctorate in chronic illness research with a focus on type 1 diabetes. Sheri has published many peer review articles in various medical journals. She is currently an adjunct facculty member at both Yale University and University of Connecticut Nursing Schools. Sheri lives in Woodbury with her husband AEH Knox, a physician with ProHealth, and her son and daughter and numerous pets.
