ProHealth is committed to improving clinical care processes and outcomes through the activities of our research network. In 2002, ProHealth created The Connecticut Center for Primary Care (CCPC) as a not-for-profit research and education organization to oversee ProHealth research activities. The goals of CCPC lie in three avenues:
- Primary Care Health Services Research—explore best practices and innovative models of patient care and healthcare delivery
- Educational Activities—educate clinicians and patients on the most effective wellness and disease care across the spectrum of life
- Primary Care Advocacy—advance knowledge and awareness of primary care issues through collaboration and leadership within the state and nationally
