Alyssa is locked into basic thinking, which is adequate, (references exist for a reason) , but on the fringe of references such as the very low or very high , this should warrant some more concern and investigation. She is right on me when my blood pressure was 141, and the reference for a patient without any significant risk factors on medication being 140 or less , but yet is dismissive of my testosterone being in the lowest decile, even though that testosterone puts me at significant risk for cardiovascular disease , diabetes , osteoporosis and depression. Why adhere to a fringe level of blood pressure, and not the testosterone? I even stated that i get normal readings of BP at home and I possibly have white coats syndrome but I don't think she agreed with me. Overall , Alyssa is very competent and pleasant to deal with, but I would make the suggestion to give more consideration to those fringe areas. Overall, although i disagree with her on the testosterone, I would recommend her as a practitioner to my friends and family
