Dr. Valentin is one of the very few doctors I've seen who practices attentive listening. You can feel and see when talking to him that he is interested in hearing your story as a patient by the way he asks follow up and probing questions. When I am in his office I feel I am the person that matters at that particular moment and all his attention is dedicated to me as the patients in front of him. Unlike other doctors, he does not dismiss my concerns or complaints, he always wants to hear more as he tries to figure out how these complains or concerns are connected to the health situation that brought me to his office. He includes me in navigating a solution to the problem and makes it easier for me to follow the treatment plan. He is extremely knowledgeable as it relates to his clinical skills.
