She’s been my health care provider for the past 10 years and has been very responsive with any of my healthcare issues.

She is highly competent and knowledgeable. Her affect is not warm and fuzzy but I'd rather have someone competent than warm and fuzzy.

Dr. Chan always gets back to me quickly when I message her on the patient portal. However, I've found that when I have a physical exam with her she isn't as thorough as I've experienced in the past with other doctors or APRNs. She does go over all my bloodwork and medications and asks if I have any concerns but she physically does not touch me. She listens to my heart, touches my ankles and looks in my ears. But I expect her to have me lie back while she exams my abdomen area and looks in my mouth and eyes and feels around my neck area for any abnormalities. I'm disappointed that she's not a hands-on doctor. She's a bit standoffish and unfriendly.

Dr. Chan is one of the best doctors that I have had. She comes into the exam room totally prepared and having read my chart prior to coming into the exam room. I find her to be very thorough and great with follow through. She is helpful in finding resources. She is an excellent listener.

She explained everything clearly, answered my questions, listened carefully, and made me feel heard and well cared for. I also appreciated how quickly she responded to my test results in MyChart. Overall, I feel confident in her care and would gladly continue seeing her as my primary care physician, as well as for any urgent needs. I also value that she has been at this location for several years, as continuity of care is very important to me.
