Dr. Chan asks questions, listens to my replies and gives me an opinion based on facts.

I do not believe in perfection, so I rate a 9, but that is very high for me and thoroughly deserved for her. Dr Chan never rushes me or our appointment, makes me feel like I’m her only patient. She is caring and understanding. I feel seen and heard with her about my issues and concerns. I love having her for my primary care physician. She’s amazing.

She listened closely to my concerns and worked with me to resolve them.

She always seems rushed. She was warmer the last time I saw her, there was a definite improvement. I was also glad that I didn’t have to get naked and sit in a paper gown while waiting for her and speaking with her. That was a very uncomfortable aspect. However, at no point did I undress and I wonder how thorough a physical exam was completed. My previous physician (in Boston) would come in and speak with me first, while I was wearing my clothing, then she’d step out while I changed and I’d only have to be wearing paper for the physical exam portion. I liked that system much better.

She is not nurture or compassion and insists you take some steps you do not want to take. Like if I do not want to take a flu shot, she should not insist to do so. She should only offer it but not push to change my mind.

The more time I spend w/Dr Chan the more comfortable I feel. Rating her when I see her 1x a year is difficult but here I go. She really has done a good job of getting to know me over the past few years. She really understands my medical needs and concerns (considering the lack of time she has to get through a physical), no fault of hers. Dr Chan has improved greatly with the ‘personal’ aspect of a patient/dr relationship. Thank you.
