Doctor Eltahan is not my primary physician. My primary physician was not in on the day of my appointment. She is a caring person and I was very pleased to meet with her and I would recommend her to others

She answered all my questions and made me very comfortable throughout the visit. Like many, I don’t particularly like going to doctors, however she seems to be an exception to this rule for me. First time seeing her and I’m not afraid to come back and have her address any concern I have. This is a huge deal for me.

I was prescribed a medication that I expressed concerns with side affects. Another option was not discussed in detail. I felt my concerns were not taken seriously.

I felt like Dr. Eltahan was very kind and respectful, as it was my first visit with her. However, I felt like some of the things she said were a little to the point, and made me feel kind of bad. she told me my BMI was healthy, but was approaching overweight. I have never been told that was a problem by my pediatrician, so it kind of caught me off guard, as i have been the same weight for years. i understand she didn’t mean this in a hurtful way, but i am a young girl who has struggled with body image issues in the past, so this approach i found a little hurtful, especially because my bmi is healthy.
