I was and still am in pain. I wanted to see my doctor. She listened to me but didn’t hear me. I am in pain. I’m [omitted] and not a pain med seeker. I believe there were and are better medications to help me quicker but she didn’t seem to understand how badly I felt. She listened to my heart etc, took my blood pressure.

First time meeting her. She was professional and courteous and a good listener. But somewhat impersonal. Never strayed from issues involving the problem I came in with. I felt restricted to discussing only that one issue. But in all fairness, from what I hear these doctors and APRN’s are severely overworked and understaffed required by the business powers that be to get patients in and out quickly.

Recently I had blood test result where my cholesterol was high and my blood pressure was also on the high side, instead of just putting me on medication, Julie Huston suggested a calcium scan which I had done. The results from the calcium scan showed my arteries clear but found an ascending aortic aneurysm which resulted in me having emergency open heart surgery so, by suggesting the calcium scan instead of just prescribing medication, Julie Huston saved my life....

Julie is moving on September 14, 2026 to a new office at: 400 Saybrook Rd, Ste 206, Middletown. Julie worked in the emergency department of a top trauma center. She has been working at ProHealth since 2021 as a nurse and in our patient access center. She chose to practice medicine to help people. She believes that each patient is a valuable member of the health care team. She feels care should be tailored to each patient's needs. When not in the office, Julie spends time outdoors hiking and running. She enjoys time with her family, dog, cats, and her banana black-pastel ball python, Charm.Gender
