Maria started studying how hearts and lungs age. She then became a senior scientist and helped create a Hepatitis B vaccine. She chose medicine to help people live longer, healthier lives. She works with patients to help them make informed decisions about their health. When she's not at work, you can find Maria with her family. Fun fact!
