This provider makes me feel like I'm teaching her about my underlying diagnosis. I tell the provider my concerns regarding a possible ulcer, and in the last two visits, the concern ends up being an ulcer. Then I'm seeing a wound care specialist, dermatologist, etc., for extra care regarding my initial visit. I would rather see my PCP, who has a better understanding of my condition.

Melissa started her career as a research chemist and decided to take a leap of faith into nursing. She works with her patients to ensure they have everything they need for the best possible care. No topic is off limits, she strives to forge open & honest relationships. When she's not caring for patients, you can find her spending time with her family. You can also find her curled up with a good book and her dog. A UConn grad, Melissa is an avid Husky fan! She's also an identical twin. Fun fact! They both work in health care.Gender
