She really cares and will ensure that you are heard and listened to. She takes a person's concerns seriously and aims to support the person in the journey to find answers or help the situation. Even if it is more than what she can do she will support the person in finding the answers. She will also problem solve with the person.

Mikayla is a third-generation nurse. She is a first-generation nurse practitioner. She chose to work in medicine to help people get better when they're sick. Mikayla's focus is on preventive care. Her goal is to help patients feel empowered in their health. She wants them to feel active in their own care and well-being. When she's not caring for patients, Mikayla is with her husband and two dogs, Bailey and Loki. As a former resident of Buffalo, NY, it's no surprise. Mikayla is, and always will be, a Buffalo Bills fan!
