lack of follow-up after I requested to speak to her three different times. Finally another Doctor finally answered my questions

My experiences with this provider have been consistently frustrating. Appointments frequently run 45 minutes or more behind schedule. On multiple occasions, I have had to reschedule because I could not continue waiting due to work obligations. During appointments, I am often interrupted before I can fully explain my concerns. When discussing medications, I have repeatedly explained previous side effects and concerns, but my feedback has not been adequately considered. I have also expressed concerns regarding chronic back pain and felt that my input regarding my symptoms and treatment was disregarded. The provider also routinely used a phone during appointments despite having access to both room computers and a work laptop. The purpose of the phone use was never explained, and I was never informed whether it was being used for recording, transcription, or note-taking. This lack of transparency raised concerns regarding privacy and professionalism. When I sought help with weight management, I was hoping for a referral to a specialist or a more comprehensive discussion of options. Instead, I was prescribed a medication I was uncomfortable taking and expressed concerns about, but those concerns were not meaningfully addressed. When I raised concerns about the medication, I was told not to focus on or read the medication description. As a patient, I believe I should be able to understand the medications being prescribed, including their purpose, risks, and potential side effects before deciding whether to take them. I was also told that eliminating dairy would solve my weight issues, which did not seem to reflect the complexity of the concerns I brought to the appointment. Overall, I do not feel listened to, and I do not feel that my concerns are taken seriously or addressed collaboratively. Because of these repeated experiences, I would not recommend this provider.

She spoke very fast and it was hard to follow because she quickly went from topic to topic. I felt like she was “grilling” me on some questions with her tone. She questioned decisions made by my other doctors about my medications and pervious tests/procedures in a rude way and then proceeded to “educate” me about what the medical guidelines say and why my other doctors were wrong (including another doctor in that practice).

Absolutely 💯 % recommend Dr. Carrington as she's the best Primary Physician I've had since I moved to CT 3 years ago. Dr. C is Awesome and is the ultimate professional!

Not very personable. Doesn't take time to fully ask the proper questions. Never once asked about a cough that was present during the visit. Did not check lungs or touch any part of the body especially after concerns raised about several health issues. Does not take time to make patient feel comfortable or does not express compassion. A very matter of fact physician. Appears anxious to get to the next appointment, whatever that may be. In summary not a personable physician and not one that will go above and beyond. perhaps these are limitations set by the Pro health in general but not previusly experienced with Dr. Yarborough

She was so kind and very thorough. As a new patient of hers she went through all my background and medications to make sure that she got to know me and any of my concerns or needs.

She was extremely thorough and her follow up is excellent. She had a nurse contact me within a day of having a bone dexa to provide several recommendations as to supplements I should be taking.

She never rushes my visit and goes over everything with me

Very rude, and also gave a diagnosis in notes but did not give the proper medication for the illness to improve

She was intense. I had never seen her as a provider before as my regular provider could not see me. She told me I had medical conditions that I was not aware of based on looking at one set of labs. I was there for a pre-op physical, not a follow up or diagnostic visit

Her personal experiences are as rich as her medical background. As a child, Dr. Carrington-Tribble lived in South America and England. She came back to the U.S. and made California her home. Outside of work, Dr. Carrington-Tribble enjoys music and podcasts. You can also find her singing and playing the flute/Irish whistle. She's also a fan of cooking, sewing, yoga, and gardening.
