He is warm, engaging, and takes his time explaining things. He is also good at suggesting options for care and what he recommends and why.

While attentive and overall thorough, Samuel Anyatonwu doesn't relay the information on MyChart as it was stated during the visit. Seems a bit disconnected, as there is usually no plan for dealing with symptoms, especially if there are test results connected, and every visit feels like starting anew. While I understand that Samuel deals with many patients, certain aspects of this can feel jarring. Mistakes are absolutely normal, but when they become too frequent and certain things are forgotten, this can deter one from wanting to make another appointment.

He is knowledgeable, personable, and speaks directly to the patient. Years ago he treated my mom who did not speak English, yet when Dr. Anyatonwu spoke about her health issues he looked at her and spoke to her even if she could not understand him or sometimes even hear him. My mom had another doctor who spoke our language who did not extend this respectful gesture toward my mom, but instead spoke to me and looked at me when speaking about her health.
