Oatmeal cookies recipe 


Makes 48 cookies


  • ¾ cup applesauce 
  • ½ Splenda® Brown Sugar Blend 
  • ¼ cup Splenda® Sugar Blend 
  • 1 tsp. baking powder 
  • ¼ tsp. baking soda 
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon 
  • ½ cup Egg Beaters® 
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract 
  • 1¾ cups whole wheat flour 
  • 2 cups rolled oats


  1. Beat the applesauce, brown sugar blend, white sugar blend, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon in a large bowl using an electric mixer until combined. Scrape the sides of bowl occasionally. 
  2. Add egg and vanilla and beat until combined. Add in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour and the oats. 
  3. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375° oven for 8–10 minutes or until edges are golden. 
  4. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute. Transfer to a wire rack.
